There are many forms of design, from the pristine, flawless nautilus shell found in nature to the industrial design of the computer I've made my career with. The designs I produce are not merely images randomly thrown together, but rather are design solutions that have been meticulously thought out.
As in any profession, a designer needs practice and skill, but above all passion, to be happy and successful. Ultimately, passion separates the mediocre from the superb. I am passionate about good design: I believe this key ingredient opens the door to beautiful and effective communication that speaks to the viewer on many levels.
Graphic design is about subtle communication that really sinks in. It is about the juxtaposition of objects or images that, in themselves, express a thousand words. It is about the marriage between image and text. Passionate graphic designers craft solutions that will be remembered and will stand the test of time.
